Chocolate and peanut butter squares

(The Edgar Bar!)

 

Ingredients

 

4 cups quick oats

1 cup brown sugar

1/2 cup corn syrup

1/4 cup honey

2/3 cup butter, softened

1/2 cup peanut butter

1 Tbsp vanilla

 

2/3 cup peanut butter

2 cups chocolate

 

In a large bowl, mix all the first set of ingredients except the oats. Once you have a smooth texture, add the oats. Press down the mixture in a parchment lined 9x12 baking dish.

 

Cook at 375 for 18 minutes or golden brown around the edges.

 

 

 

 

 

Let rest 30 minutes.

 

Melt the chocolate and peanut butter from the second set of ingredients and pour over the cooked oats mix.

 

Tilt the dish on all sides to even out the chocolate, shake it if you need to!

 

Store away in the refrigerator until set.

Cut into squares.
