At Elephant Print, we care about our environment. Climate change is a growing concern and remains an important challenge that only we have the power to change.

All individuals, businesses, and organizations lay their carbon footprint, which is the total of all of the greenhouse gas emissions emitted from their various activities, including all of our major emission sources, such as electricity consumption, fuel use, and travel.

We've joined the Climate Neutral Now Pledge which is a program from the United Nations that is basically a pledge to measure GHG, reduce energy consumption and offsetting any other emissions by renewables or planting trees.

We have also partnered with a local environmental charity, The Rideau Valley Conservation Foundation. They are a registered environmental charity working to help protect and conserve the lands and waters of the valley of the Rideau River in Eastern Ontario. They will plant trees for us in the Rideau River watershed area to offset carbon emissions.

Also our web servers have changed to GreenGeeks. For every amperage they pull from the grid for their servers, they match 3 times that in the form of renewable energy via Bonneville Environmental Foundation.

Wanting to offset our carbon footprint, we also try to make a difference by doing little things when possible like reusing packaging from our suppliers, printing our notepads on otherwise wasted stock and planning out deliveries on our drives in and out of the office.
